The keel has been laid. The crew is assembled. The charts remain incomplete, though they improve with every league sailed. Today the captain began the formal work of commissioning the vessel. Progress was delayed briefly by reefs of upsells and fog banks of legal terminology, but no lasting damage was sustained. Spirits remain high. Course unchanged.
