The Commissioning of Empty Keg Studios

Date: June 29, 2026

Today the Articles of Organization were completed and entrusted to the courier bound for the capital. Though the ink has scarcely dried, the vessel now awaits only the blessing of the Crown before she may officially sail under her own colors.

The journey to this point was not without hazard. The harbor was lined with merchants eager to outfit the expedition with every manner of costly contrivance. Many claimed their wares indispensable to a successful voyage. After careful inspection of each, the Captain and First Mate declined all but those provisions truly needed for departure, preserving the treasury for adventures yet to come.

The ship herself has taken form.

She shall be known as Empty Keg Studios, LLC.

Her purpose is simple:

Film production and media publishing.

Her captain shall be Jim Hart.

Her crew, though scattered across many shores, have already answered the call and now refer to themselves with no small measure of pride as pirates upon a common voyage.

Their destination remains beyond the horizon, though its name is well known:

Jurango.

Beyond that lie seas yet uncharted.

Tonight the keg was tapped not in celebration of a voyage completed, but in honor of one finally begun.

ADDENDUM:

Before the courier departed for the capital, the Cartographer returned with welcome news. A place upon the world's charts had been secured.

It shall be known as: emptykegstudios.com

Though no lighthouse yet stands, nor tavern welcomes weary travelers, the harbor has been marked. Future voyagers shall now have a place to find us.

The Captain remarked only that much work remained. The crew agreed. Yet each smiled quietly into his mug, for every sailor knows that before a harbor may become famous...
